This image comes back, And once again to my studio mind. I’m amidst other walls that are finished, white painted to black. Stencils of letters of artists in my memory and in the present.
This painting, I keep thinking of it.
I think of its simplicity. Turning about in consideration its potential to be an avenue forward.
How it came to be, shaped in seriousness.
Spending time the last few days in the studio, I feel swayed by knowable color paths. Subtlety and limited ranges, there is an ease in mixing, in getting it “right”.
