In the December of 2015 I was lucky enough to do a residency at FalseFront in Portland Oregon. The project space and gallery of Jason Doize in residential NE Portland. It is a space with many former lives, a neighborhood market, barbershop, a photography studio and now existing as a gallery.

It was my home and studio for the full month of December 2015 where I worked on pieces for a January 2016 show at NATIONALE. The works came about from ideas that I had been playing around with in Louisiana as I had just relocated there after grad school. In a time of nomadic existence I feel that the works which came about were an odd anchor to my practice at the time.
